He was convicted of the murder of Laura Burbank in 1970. In Pierce County, Washington, David Fisher was sentenced to 10 years for manslaughter. He served 4 years in Walla Walla State Prison and escaped to Edmonton, Canada. He was extradited back to the United States to serve the rest of his prison term.
