Open Question: HELP!! 15 years in prison is too long!?

Okay so my boyfriend was sentenced to prison for two different charges. Assault (120 months) & Firearm enhancement (60 months). He got 10% good time taken off of the 120 months & he has already been incarcerated now for 13 months. He is currently serving his time in the Washington State Penitentiary at Walla Walla, Washington. Is there anything at all that he could do to get his sentenced reduced or anything else to help him in his situation?? Any information is helpful, but if you know more please provide details.....
